i've finally started my vintage collection!!!

i was given this by a friend who found it in a pile of, as he was told, "a pile of junk going to the dump!"

so,i've stripped her down and gave her new heads and wires. Lovely jubbly!!

i'm super excited, and can't wait to get more!!!!

any info on it would be great.

I believe it's a No. 2514 Pearl Popular Snare Drum in Sparkling Silver Pearl. My cat dates it around 68ish.

The Sparkling Gold Pearl had a huge amount of orange in it. My guess is that's a ginger-ale'd Silver. Maybe.

Nice save on that one. I'm glad your buddy snagged it for you. I've been looking for drums on the curb or in the trash and haven't scored yet. Anyway great looking snare. I dig the early Pearl stuff and later stuff too for that matter. Great sounding drums!!

remember. I'm currently on an early

80's six piece pearl. With a bank of rototoms.
