A 5 piece Peacock Pearl Revelle kit score!

Loading...

I just scored a 5 piece Peacock Pearl Revelle kit and I need a couple pieces to complete it. I will post some pictures tomorrow night. I'm looking for bass drum spurs, one tom muffler knob assembly and a bass drum cymbal mount. Let me know if you may have any of these pieces! I recently got into MIJ kits and snare drums and have picked up quite a few, love the finishes.

Here are a few pics, sorry for the delay. I will take more soon! The set has a chrome snare drum. I will take a few pics of that too.

What are the shells like - the thin with rings or the thicks?

That will be a beauty when you get done with it! Be sure to share the pic with Ralf (member here with the Star website) so that he can add it to his site.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

That set to me would be a keeper...As I mentioned before that this is a rare and sought after wrap in the MIJ world...The parts you need shouldn`t be difficult to acquire to complete the set...Thanks for posting pics...

I have a Stewart kit in this same wrap in near mint condition...

Cheers

Thanks guys! I can't wait to start on it. I'm guessing there was a cymbal mount on the bass drum, kind of an odd shape, I haven't seen one yet. I did manage to find a complete muffler knob assembly for the tom. I cleaned on spot on one of the toms and it came out beautiful with a great shine. I also just picked up a mint 5-piece Lido Supreme, Fibre gold pearl set with all original heads! Pictures coming soon!

The shells have no rings, just a thick shell. I will definately forward photos to Ralf.

Revelle was a sub-brand from Star, later: Tama.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Just started to disassemble them. The cymbal holder for the bass drum is an odd shape. Unfortunately it's missing but the outline is very clear. I've never seen one like it? any other makes use the same type? I've looked at quite a few Star, Revelle etc... and they don't llok the same.
