Ok BUT as I said in an earlier post I want a Ringo zyn for promo photos to complete the spec look. I use a 19'' armand ride, a "vintage" A CIE 20'' Ride and 602 15'' SE hats for my ringo gigs. The sound is IT. I am in the process of getting an actual vintage 18'' A clone of his also for shots. Not too worried about the 20'' on the left side in either case although this one works real well.

I've heard a few different opinions as to what size hats that he used. I assume then that you're a proponent of the idea that they were 15". Is that true?

The reason I asked is that I just picked up a pair of late 50's hats that could be clones.

Ed Sullivan were 15's as well. I actually believe he had two pair.. a 14'' and a 15''.

I'd like to here your clones!

Yep I think mine are dead ringers, especially when I compare them to that lower photo you showed here. I'll post a soundfile when I get a chance.
