What a cool and georgous little set. Can't wait to see more.

Not the best picture, but you get the idea. The stain is Transtint Dark Walnut, picked out by my daughter (they are her drums). After staining, we added 8 coats of clear water-based non yellowing poly, applied with a foam brush. Each coat was very lightly sanded w 600 grit paper.

I'll post pictures of the full set in a week or so.

Fun, cheap father-daughter project. What could be better than that?
