$777 for a 60s Dynasonic on eBay - why?

70s Slingy WMP
70s Ludwig Standard Aqua Mist
60s Ludwig Champagne Sparkle Downbeat
and a whole bunch of snares and hardware

Why? Because a 6 1/2" x 14" Dynasonic is rather rare...

Still too much money...I bought one earlier this year from CL for $450 shipped and it is super clean and all original. Some of the stuff on eBay is going for crazy prices, and others can't give away good stuff. Guess it's all timing and what someone is willing to pay.

Looked like a 60's 6 1/2'' too, the 70's Big R deep Dyna's don't fetch as much...

Found it!!

Nice drum. 60's dynasonics do bring more than 70's models. Dynas that are 6.5" deep usually command a premium. I have seen 7 line beavertail dynas bring around $900+ (for 6.5" models) in years past. 5 line 6.5 dynas usually bring a bit less, but are still desirable, especially if from the Dayton era. There are some good buys out there. I picked up this immaculate 6.5" 7 line dyna from eBay for $350! A great buy in any economic times....
