i just acquired this kit, along with a Premier snare. the snare is stamped Oct. '71 inside, but no dates on the other shells.

sizes are 22/16/14 & 12 racks

as far as plys, there's a thick ring around the perimeter of the shells, and it looks like only 1 ply otherwise.

anyone have any ideas about this kit? value? wood type? etc?
