The Luddies are my main beaters, And they sound awesome!! I'm working on restoring the Slingerlands. anybody have any tips about restoring them? (What type of heads you recommend? I play a lot of hard rock, so I need them loud)

If you want loud, I would suggest Attack heads. You can buy a complete set online for about $40 delivered to you from either zZounds or American Musical Supply. I sugest you play zZounds against AMS as they will beat the price. Musicians Friend recently started the "beat the deal" game as well, so play the against each other. You always win in the end. The head set is a 22-12-13-14-16, all for $29.95 plus shipping.
