the threads on my old one gave out. Have replaced the leg mount with a non-original part but would prefer to have a matching original one.
I hate to say it, but I had to take a file to widen the shell's mounting hole (just a bit) to install the new part because I had to have a functional kit to gig. I now feel bad for abusing the kit and am doing all I can for restoration!
