One doesn't see much of this wrap. However, This 12 X 15" gave me a big dose. My heart goes out to anyone who had to carry this in a parade.

What a Cool Finish.
I've got the same drum ( a '66 ) in Sparkling Gold Pearl
with COB hoops.
Interesting what was considered "high tension" in the day.
I cranked mine up to what I thought was sensible ( nothing
close to a modern parade snare ) and one day 3 of the lugs
had broken apart.
Keeping it more in the "Ballad" range now...
