'70s Ludwig Vistalite Big Beat

All my stuff is from the late ‘60s to mid-‘70s, except the bass drum pedal which is 2009.

My kit:

Ludwig Vistalite Big Beat set consisting of:

14” X 22” bass, 16” X 16” floor tom, 8” X 12” ride tom, 9” X 13” ride tom, 5” X 14” snare

Ludwig Speed King bass drum pedal

Ludwig Spur-lok hit-hat with Ludwig Standard Paiste 14” cymbals with ching-ring

18” Zildjian crash cymbal and 20” Zildjian ride cymbal with CAMCO sizzler

Gibraltar motorcycle seat-style drum throne with backrest

The hi-hat stand & cymbals, the ride and the crash I have had since I bought them new in about 1968!

Wow that's pretty. Blue is my favorite Vistalite and I still hope to get a kit like yours someday.

Wow that's pretty. Blue is my favorite Vistalite and I still hope to get a kit like yours someday.

Watch on Ebay. That's where I got these last October (2011) and got a REALLY good deal. I bought them to replace the ones I had ordered from the factory in 1973 and sold in 1985.

First time I've seen the blue ones. Prior to seeing these, green was my favorite but the blues bumped 'em. Sweeeet!!!

That brings back memories ... My first kit was Blue Vistalight ... I later had a amber kit .... you always miss the ones that got away .... nice kit bro !
