70's Ludwig Standard 20, 14, 12 Value? Last viewed: 3 days ago

I just picked up this 70's Red Mist Ludwig Standard kit in what appears to be rare sizes 20, 14, 12. No Snare, and I was wondering what they might be worth? Seems that the 14inch floor might be rare for the Standard Series but not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. Ed Adkins

I would check ebay for reference. I must say those are very nice drums and I have a particular love the the Standard Ludwigs, esp. the Strata wraps.

Those are nice. Can't say that I've ever seen a 14" floor in the Standard series. Who knows of the value? $500-700? Just a wild guess. I'm thinking someone with a similar kit who needs a 14" floor tom to go with a 16" would pay good $ for that.

Thanks for the info. I had a friend tell me that they might be worth a little more because of the sizes, either way I was happy to find them. I did notice that I believe the tom mount post on the kick has been altered. It was so cold and I was in a hurry when I got these I didn't notice it. Oh well. Cant wait to clean and tune up. I will probably be selling in the future but for now I will see if I can get my kids interested in playing.

Thanks again, Ed Adkins
