Sweet kit! What size are those bass drums?

I'm generally not a big fan of cortex, but -that- drum set is beautiful.

John

Thanks y'all. The sizes are: 24x14 Basses, 9x13, 10x14, 16x18 and 18x20 Toms, 5x14 Super Sensitive converted to P85 strainer, 20,21 and 22 Zildjian Rides, 2 18" Zildjian Crashes and 14 hats, all pre 1974. Always wished I'd gotten a bigger snare (6x14 or bigger) to go along with the big drums, and I'd rather have thinner 15' hats. I disassembled everything and cleaned/derusted/polished. I like the Cortex (tho WMP is my favorite) but the only mod I was tempted to do is to replace the Bass drum hoops with clear varnished Maple hoops, just to get that old-timey high-school band look from the dark wood/light wood contrast. I rebuilt/repaired/repainted the Speed King pedals with info gleaned from this site, and bought a few replacement items from a member here. I replaced the snare and shell tom heads with coated Ambassadors and Emperors. I'm in the process of tuning, not quite there yet.

I'm still trying to understand the serial numbers on these drums. This was a larger kit in the store, but I ordered an additional floor tom and passed on the concert toms it originally had, so it's a customized custom kit to begin with, therefore the number variations are understandable, but I'm still a bit lost with the snare and 16x18. Also, this is why the shell toms are reversed, with the badges facing inward, as the toms were originally matched with larger/smaller toms utilizing an additional stand. Here are the #s

5x14 1075573

9x13 969402

10x14 969403

16x18 1064888

18x20 974376

14x24 969747

14x24 975294

Great-looking kit, even though not actual wood. Love the twin, 24" cannons.

Enjoy those.
