Some people hate that finish and i understand but i love them. This born together kit showed up locally and i couldn't pass it up. It came with hi-end cymbals from the same era as well. Complete with granitone interiors, the kit is probably a 9/10. As it turns out, this kit hasn't seen much mileage because it sat in a studio for most of it's life. The gentleman was really nice and as it turns out, he used to drum in my uncle's band 60 yrs ago. We sat around and talked for an hour about his drumming life. Lucky day whoohoo!

Keep fixing them up...

Very nice kit. Looks super clean, almost brand new! I'd have had a hard time passing this set up as well.

Small world that the seller played in your uncle's band. What are the chances? It's always cool when you connect as seller and buyer.

Congratulations. I still have my 70's BB kit with Granitone interiors. Remember the day i picked it out with my Dad. I was 15 then. Finished cleaning it up a year ago and have been playing it. Trying to get some pics uploaded. Enjoy.
