70's era North with SYNARE

I'm reminded of the Canadian 80's band "The Payolas", famous hard rock producer Bob Rock's former band..

Their drummer had a similar kit, but his was a Staccato..He also had a couple of Synares as well.. Awesome and unique kit you've got there !

I must share this photo on my Facebook! Awesome. I had a North set a few years ago, and I'm kicking myself for getting rid of it. They are LOUD, and can be a bear to transport, but they are cool. I also had a few Synare units, and Pearl Syncussion drum synths back in the late 70s-80s, used them live and recording...wish I had those too. Just using the modern Roland stuff these days for electronics. Love that kit you had back then!

My dad(therefore, future me) has an all original yellow with white interior North kit with the original rack! Super cool kit. I'll have to take pictures of it and post em soon.
