67 Slingerland in studio

Dudes,

So this weekend I am taking my slingys into studio to lay down some tracks. its a 3 piece 13, 16 and 20. Im gonna be mixing between the snares but mostly using the COB soundking that came with the kit and a much more modern DW collectors maple.

Will be running through the following mics -

Audio Techinica 4050's

AKG C1000's

AKG D112's

Sennheiser MD 441-u

Shure sm57

Rode nt2a

Rode K2

and going through pro tools with a digi rack

I will be getting a slightly more modern sound and using mostly standard single ply heads except for the Bass drum - emad 2 and modern hardware - dw9000 etc.

So I will keep you dudes posted and get some pics up next week and hopefully a taste of the drum sound soon after
