66 Pink Sparkle Slingerlands

These are not champagne, they are pink, sparkling pink pearl is what Slingerland called them. For years I thought they were champagne intil I saw champagne, big difference.

OK, soooo, trade or no? Actually Lucky, Slingerlands don't have the same value as Ludwigs, especially a 1960's blue oyster pearl kit. I recently had them on ebay and they reached over $900 for the three drums, just below my reserve. You'd be getting the better deal, plus bigger drums. Get back to me soon, I have a guy who wants to swap a bran new green sparkle GMS kit, but I'm not sure that I want new drums, thanks.

Well, Johnny...that's not entirely true about value. Generally, finish-for-finish, that may be true, but not always.

Sparkling Pink is a fairly desirable Slingerland finish, though. And those sizes are much more desirable than a 22/13/16. Plus, are those Ludwigs matched?

I wouldn't make any quick decisions until I saw all the drums in question, in any regard.
