I would give the supra a close look when it gets there,looks like no "rash" ,like the aluminum ones get,If the beds are crimped it could be a cob,from what I have read there are some 60's brass with ser# out there.Even if it's not to have a supra that old and looking that good is really cool.

Will do when I FINALLY get it. It is described as having some "very slight" pitting. I just presumed it couldn't be brass because of the sticky here on VDF on this subject, where Mlbvs (classicvintagedrums.com) states:

"5.) Can Supras with a serial number be chrome over brass? Answer: almost never. I've personally seen one Supraphonic from the late 1960's that had a serial number, and was chrome over brass. It had a B stamp over the muffler dial, and was the same spun / non-welded shell as the 70's COB drums. So it is so exceedingly rare that a serial numbered Supra is COB that if it doesn't have the B stamp, I assume it to be aluminum."

But will be fun to look anyway.
