NOS Means new old stock, Not played then put back in the boxes, I see a no sale on this one.
60's Rogers kit with original boxes on eBay!
Another heads up on the description:
Nowhere in the ad does it say NOS or New Old Stock.
The seller is giving an honest description of the kit. Please read it yourself if interested.

For those into dating drums, look closely at this picture. It has a Sep 6 1966 date stamp.
Now look at the details of the auction for the serial numbers:
14x20 holiday blue sparkle kick # 67440
- 16x16 holiday blue sparkle floor tom # 67190
- 8x12 holiday blue sparkle ride tom # 67216
- 5x14 power tone blue sparkle snare drum # 15581
This is a great help for correlating S/N to dates. You can't get more accurate than this.

They aren't being advertised as NOS.
Everything looks on the up and up to me.
My bet is they sell.
Again, where will you find another?
I am just elated that in 2015, there are still ***els like this out there to be discovered!Excited

In his original copy he did state it was NOS, He's edited it since,
The nice thing here is they are already boxed for shipping. Laughing H Kidding......but hope if shipped they get double boxed. Looks like the seller is hoping for local pickup. Very cool kit and boxes add to the fun.
Mr Cooper sounds like you have had some very cool NOS finds. It's always tough as one needs to sometimes verify the contents. But once opened........:)
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Thanks. Yes, that is the dilemma with boxed NOS drums like that. Takes a lot of willpower to not open them up. Even if a box had a Rogers Powertone label on it, without opening it, there's no proof there is actually one inside. The box might contain an Acrolite instead. AAAAGGHHH! :)
Nice offering, but it seems to me excessive to pay what would turn out to be something in the order of $1500 for the boxes. Those would actually be the great museum piece.
Just as I predicted No sale !! So round two when will it be ??
