60's Premier on Ebay - is this a steal for real? Last viewed: 3 days ago

Loading...

Guys - this auction was at $400 OBO for days and just dropped to $275 today! I've been wanting 20/12/14 jazz set-up for a long time but just couldn't scrape the cash together. I don't know squat about Premier, but I've heard they were (still are) great drums. I'm thinking I want to go for this one. Sounds like a steal. Is it? Anyone know anything about vintage Premier? I'm not afraid of a little scrub. A players kit is fine for me. Other than what's mentioned/shown in the ad, what am I missing?

Thanks!

Mark

What are you waiting for? $105 per drum TO YOUR DOOR? Hmmmm

I wouldn't hesitate on that one. A decent set of vintage Premier drums at a great price. Has a few hiccups but seems to be a great price for a decent players kit!

Thanks! I sent him an offer just to see if he'd knock a few bucks off. I'll take whatever his counter is or the BIN price. I'll be jazzin' away shortly. Will be great to play what I hear in my head.

Indeed a great player's kit. Extra holes are probably scaring away the collectors, but those sizes and finish are nice!

Premier never really gets a lot of respect even thought they're decent drums.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Looks like it had a Sling SOM mount...much more user friendly....

If I had that kit...I would put the SOM back on..plug the 3 original Prem 1/8" holes....

"decent" drums BBK?

Well, I'm a big dumb idiot. I tried an offer to see if he'd knock a few bucks off and someone else swooped in and grabbed them. IDIOT!!! Oh well. Mkelley, what are you selling?
