SOLD

REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE

$1100 PLUS SHIPPING AND PAYPAL FEES TAKES DRUMS AND SNARE.

I WILL SHIP CASES SEPARATELY FOR WHATEVER THE COST OF SHIPPING IS.

For sale

60's Ludwig Green Sparkle kit

3ply shells

12,13,16,22 with the very clean 60's supra that came with it.

Beautiful clear maple interiors!!

I have never personally seen such beautiful wood from a

late 60's Ludwig kit.

Original wrap and parts, (sorry, no muffles)

Here are the imperfections with this kit.

The bass drum badge is missing, oddly enough the grommet is still intact

and untampered with.

Also on the bass drum, someone put Yamaha spurs on it.

Using the knowledge passed on by incredibly talented forum members,

I not only plugged the holes, but color matched the wrap in those spots as well.

The result, are very hard to find spots. I'll let the pics do the talking.

Lastly, the floor tom seam is not factory tight.

With all that said, I'm looking to get $1100 for it all, plus shipping. If your close enough to pick up, or just wanna pay the extra shipping charge, you can have the original, (nearly brand new) cases for these for free.

I'll have these on eBAY soon if you're more comfortable going that route.

Thanks for looking!

VERY nice drums!!

Not to thread cap, but out of curiosity, how did you repair the sparkle wrap?

Beautiful kit. My personal preference would be to bury those pinstripes somewhere deep, though! I would be interested if I didn't already have a basement full of drums! Good luck!

Sorry for the delayed reply, I had a few fly dates this weekend and didn't have my computer.

To repair these holes I used info from a thread by forum member "poppy79424".

I bought plugs from a hobby shop and got green sparkle wrap from precision drum co. A little wood glue and you're in business.

Here are pics of the repair

This is my favorite color by far. Would love to have it. Unfortunately I'd only be open to trades at the moment. I have to many kits and the market is rough at the moment...hard time for us selling kits out there.
