They are a good, heavy knock-off of the sticksavers and they are really cool, I have one with they same hoops and a different throw. Sounds fat and woody.

For anyone who is interested, I bought the snare from Rob and have recorded a clip of it along w/ my blue oyster club date 13" tom / 20" bass drum / 16" downbeat floor tom.

I threw an older ambassador head on it.

SM57 top / 414 bottom, 421s on toms, D112 bass drum, Rode NT5s on OH, and a Nady ribbon for a mono room mic
