Got this drum in Pro Drum, LA.One of Paul Humphreys. (Black Cow, Steely Dan)Wrapped in shelf paper. Raw shell not too pretty.Layered some fiberglass over shell.Soon to be another BIG snare.They keep finding me.SA

Blaemire?,,,,,,,,,,,NoGreenish, translucent, Large? yesColor was my first attempt at tinting fiberglass resin.Some air pockets and white marks visable. (air bubbles in the mix)Some glitter is slightly visable up close.No clear finish applied. Polished fiberglass only.I am going to leave it as is for a progress reference.Pro Drum had a 16-inch snare bottom, and 15-3/4-inch wires in stock.Where else?I used the rims that came with the drum. Cut snare gates in lower rim.BTW, I use a 1968 5x14 Supra on my kit. Small snare.I like to build the big ones.Like Keanu says, "I maybe loosin it' DUDE.SA
