I'm knee-deep into a 50's Revere-Kent restoration.Severe ply separation, wrap separation and easily the WORST edges I've ever seen on any drum. Literally just table-saw edges. The ply separation is glued back together and the wrap is cleaned but dull and scratched up. An earlier posting said Novus is not really good for this bumpy-speckley type wrap(blue sparkle). I think sanding may cause the sparkle silver edges to poke out of the surface. Anyone have any experience with this situation?
