Early - mid 1950's old trademark

K. ZILDJIAN & CO. ISTANBUL

aprox 10xx grms / 11xx grms

TYPE IIIb OLD STAMP | 1953-1956

...from the K. Timeline in the back pages of the Gretsch book.

Some damage to top cymbal. Crack has been drill stopped, but whoever did it wasn't very accurate. It will require a proper repair. There is no rattle/ buzzing sound. They sound very clean.

Very musical sounding cymbals. They're great to play.

Hi, the bottom hat has no cracks or keyhole whatsoever. The Top cymbal has an edge crack as can be seen and the centre hole is slightly enlarged from years of use. There's also a small crack at the bell hole which is not visible once the hi hat clutch is on and as with bell hole cracks it is in no real danger of getting any larger. I think the top hat sounds OK, but it might be better to get a rotary dremmel tool to cut the crack out so there will be no worries that the crack might spread.

Thanks for the message.
