So, no one has an idea to how much the set would be worth cleaned up. How about the Cymbals, especially the hi hat writing? Any info?

If you're looking to make the most money from your kit, seperate it, as much as I hate to say it, that's how you'll make the most money.

I'm gonna say between $1750 and $2000 for the drums if you actually want to sell them. You will see them listed for way more but I don't see many vintage kits selling above the $2000 mark unless its a 12/14/18 set of Gretsch RBs. I have no idea what the hi-hats are worth, maybe $500?

To be able to play as slow as Al Jackson is almost impossible.

Your hi-hat cymbals have the same signature as a pair of A Zildjian hi-hats I had many years ago. They were also very thin, so I had the bright idea to use them as splashes. This resulted in the eventual destruction of those great cymbals.

I believe that before the "British Invasion" of the 60's, many A Zildjians and K's were actually signed, but don't know if this was only for Turkish made Zildjians or if it carried over to those made in the U.S.
