Amazing but there's that bad karma thing biting me in the arse years down the road. I'd go back and offer seller couple hundred cash and make their day :)
Well, well, well, very nice Ludwig kit and astounding price!
It can happen here...in France too.
Hey we can open a private LUDWIG-OWNER-FOR-AN-HANDFULL-OF-COINS cause i pay my Stainless Steel Ludwig... 50 euros!
The same, good cleaning, BD hoops to change and new REMO
The Stainless sounds terrific!
I have a good star over my head coz i pay my Ludwig 1968 Black oyster...400 euros! and a 60's Zildjian 20" for 15 euros!
I failed a Lud Orange Mood for 150 euros... and two (2)LM400 for 150!
I try to not think about too much
Woah amazing find, play the heck out of those drums! My curiosity is getting the best of me, in what part of NJ did you find those? lol

Welcome back in the drummers world.
Here at VDF you can find the most afficionados and respectful people of old -and sometimes- dusty gear.
The Ludwig is beautiful, and as you, i love to change an old stone in a gem.
Like you do with your Lud.
An humble piece of music history.
You do a nice job and i'm sure that everybody here like to seat at your drum stool and have a talk-&-beer with ya.
And i'm wondering to imagine the way(s) a drumkit had to follow, in 50 years, from the factory to a yard sale.
Congratulations, happy man.
WHAT!!!!!! Wow that's...............amazing! Are they in round and everything?
Lucky! :'(
man oh MAN!!!!!Where do you live. All I find are First Act drum kits
nope, "good" karma.....he was happy i gave him the $50 and to get rid of them
"Dreams do come true!" Thanks for sharing the story and the pic. Anybody who wouldn't be excited about that find is either dead or has absolutely no interest at all in vintage drums. ENJOY!
Now ... about the location of that neighborhood again (lol)!
