Not rechromed. I believe the drum is from the early 30's, when they started using chrome. Only thing unoriginal is the tension knob on the strainer (which has since been corrected).

Check out the Henry Adler decal....

Had as hell of a time getting some of the mayo off! Kept the tension rods from rusting.

Is that a Pioneer? I haven't seen many 15 inchers 4 inches high. Got any pictures of the badge and inside shell?

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I don't think it's a Pioneer model as it has the Chicago badge. Not sure that I know the model names (other than Pioneers) for wood tube luggers. I don't have a photo of the interior, but it's a pristine mahogany (one piece) with maple re rings.

Here's the badge.......

Badge puts it at 1920's, looks like it's "The Professional", the finish was probably a custom order finish, you could get it deluxe or gold plated hardware. Chrome was probably the deluxe finish. Nice drum, where did you find it?

I wish I could remember where it came from. I have had it about 10 years or so. I agree re the badge. The only question I have was wondering if they carried that badge a short time into the 30's, untill the white enamel badges came along. Good question.
