40's or 50's 14'' Zildjian Hi Hats w/flared bottom hat

Loading...

Can someone help me with some info. and value of these cymbals. They are 14'' Zildjians.

The bottom cymbal weighs 839.15 grams.

The top weighs 793.79 grams.

The bottom cymbal has a curve or slight radius around the perimeter.

I believe they are from the 1950's but I'm no expert.

I've never come across hi hats with the bottom cymbal radius and was wondering if any of the experts have run across this type of hi hat.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Both are both late 1950's, and probably a foundry match. These are called "flanged bottom" hi hats.
