3pc Vintage Gretsch drums - 12/16/20 all original - complete -CLEAN

Loading...

hello everyone,

I am selling one of my prized kits -

my early 70's 3pc Gretsch Stop Sign Badge 14x20 , 8x12, 16x16, orange and white labels

factory matched in original Gold Satin Flame wrap, complete with internal mufflers, pratt bass drum muffler with new felt and spur spikes.

*an additional floor tom/bass cymbal mount has been added to the 16x16 as a cowbell holder. it is clean and center, looks to be a factory job, not uncommon for this era, large internal washers...will post a pic shortly of it.

no extra holes, wrap is tight, chrome is incredible, all rods and wingnuts are smooth.

SATIN WRAP - the wrap has numerous nicks and scratches, as does any vintage satin kit, its just the way it is, but since the wrap on the kit is incredibly clean (with no fade at all) it is hard to notice any imperfection unless u were inches from it. the whole kit is a winner, looks great, sounds incredible (most important here), and would be a great kit for a collector OR the ultimate studio kit OR the ultimate player's kit!

Please make an offer - im reasonable but please don't lowball. the kit is original, complete and super clean.

i also have a set of vintage hard shell cases i can include if your price is right!

thanks everyone

nice kit...also 12,16,20 was a very popular config for Gretsch. I had several all original kits in those sizes. good Luck with them.

I love those sizes, though one might think it should be a 22 instead.Either kick size is ok with me...Do you have a starting price in mind?No one wants to insult you given that its a buyers market at the moment.

I have had around 100 vintage Gretsch kits, and don't recall ever having a factory 20,12,16 kit.

I have had many 20,12,14's,and 22,13,16's,and a few 20,13,16's,even a few 18",12,14"s,but 20,12,16?........No.........

Maybe you are thinking of Rogers kits? Thats the standard config in those..
