Not really a showpiece, IMO. It's funky and in need of some TLC, but it could be a showpiece with some work.

We know how some people are attracted to certain types of drums. Some people will drool all over themselves about this drum. To others of us, it's a grungy old tin drum that holds no interest.

I agree. We shouldn't be in a rush to "restore" every old drum we come across. Some, like this one, should remain untouched. I'd play it in its as-is condition.
