Thanks for the compliments.Johnl - surprisingly little cost involved. The replacement lugs (got 2 of them) were around $15 each + postage from England. The gentleman that got them made is restoring a wood version of the same drum and had the mold made and had enough lugs cast to send me a couple. The chroming of all the lugs cost $20 as they were slipped in with a batch of other parts. The rest was just time and elbow grease and patience. The drum cost me $30 in the beginning. All up about $100BTW, the shell wasn't rechromed. Aluminium foil and water got it looking that good. And metal polish and wax of course.
Wow well worth the $100 you spent beautiful drum. The before and after pics are very impressive.
