My three 14 x 8 toms arrived today from the UK (along with the rest of the tubs for my Moon-inspired restore.

Very exciting. Lots to do. I'll post progress shots as I dig into it.

That's an old Ludwig Supraphonic; kinda flaked out but it sounds unreal.

Be nice if you could do a 'Pictures Of Lily' finish on them! How do you plan to finish them off?

Great project!

A Lily kit would be nice, but I am going for gloss black circa 1970-73. One of the kicks and the 16 x18 floor have already been re-wrapped. The rest will begin once I get the wrap from Precision Drums.

I await photos of the finished product! Looking forward to seeing it. The sight of your kit will likely trigger a monumental flashback in my old hippie brain!

Always loved The Who. The original, 'Loudest band in Rock & Roll' long before Spinal Tap ever came along!
