22" Staccato Bass Drum

Loading...

I have a strange but wonderful 22" Staccato bass drum in Forest Green available for trade. It has a newer tom mount installed and has it's share of scratches. This drum is loud! Looking for vintage cymbals but am open to any interesting offers. Thanks!

It looks like the reso side may be a bit out of round. Excited

I have always wondered what they were thinking when they designed that mold. My guess is they were spending a lot of time looking at Altec Lansing or similar horn flares.

Good luck with your sale. Staccato drums were certainly one of a kind.

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a set of red Staccatos in a pawn shop in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The owner of the shop told me that Keith Moon's brother had something to do with the manufacturing/designing of these unique drums. Would anyone have any information on this? I too have heard that these things sound like thunder!
