22" Bos Stanton Moore Wide Ride !!!

Will post pics shorty.

Perfect condition, am guessing her to be about 3 years old.

Nice patina developing. 1 rivet at about 2 o'clock. Medium weight.

Excited VERY FINE CYMBAL ! This series has the "New Orleans" lathing on the underside and the traditional "Masters" lathing on the topside. It's a great cymbal for both Jazz and Funk/Fusion because although it provides plenty of nice spread & wash, the stick tic always remains prominent and projects. Great bell, too. No issues whatsoever. In excellent shape.

New, these are between $350-450 depending where you buy. Can't peg one on eFlay for less than $350 even.

This one's better than new because it's broken in....nice patina developing and the bronze has settled and calmed some. I am not hyping youz folks, this is a great one.

$275 shipped anywhere in US.

Will be starting an auction on eFlay in a few days, but I guarantee it won't leave my grasp for any less than this very fair price, so the blokes and blokettes at VDF get first dibs. Mallet Player2

Apparently he had 'em designed & made to his specs as he is probably the biggest & best-known endorser for Bos.

Stanton Moore is a NOLA first line stylized drummer with his own band. Interesting stuff. Not bad and not great......more interesting. I did a couple of tours in NOLA and spent quite a bit of time watching the young turks tearing it up on the streets. I learned a lot watching kids with snares and buckets. Unreal talent. Stanton learned a thing or two from those same kids. You can see it and hear it in pretty much everything he plays. This ride is a result of the search for the authentic gritty NOLA club/street sound. Seriously nice ride. I've played a few of them. I like them WAY better than the Bos NOLA ride. I sent that one back. Never really bonded to it. This new one opens up better and has the perfect blend of grit and shim. Cool.

Stanton Moore plays drums in the funk band, Galactic. I think Stanton is pretty darn good. He also has a great book/cd/dvd series on New Orleans style drumming. He does a RRLR RLRL pattern that can be used for almost anything, and that's just the start on his ideas about groove. Monster drummer/thinker/educator. Here's a short clip..
