22 Inch A. Ziljian & Cie Constantinople

Loading...

Can anyone provide any dating information or possible fair market value of the cymbal that I've provided pics of with this post?

I want to "move it" but have no idea what era it might be from nor what it might be worth.

THANKS for your help!Mallet Player2

The A-Cie's made in USA were produced for a short time, from about '69 to '73.

They were Z's first foray into heavy, brilliant rock cymbals.

If you give it some good press ("very rare"..."only produced for a few years"..."vintage"...."Zildjian's first brilliant finish line " etc ;) )....

You can get maybe $200 on eFlay.....$125-50 on C'list if you have an active one near you....

IMHO...they were just too heavy and kinda eh sounding....weird overtones and just a bit unfocused for me....but I suppose if one is a headbanger guitar2.....
