Yes - I've seen that head alone for sale for $100's and it will only get more valuable as time goes on.

This looks like a set a friend of mine has that he wants me to buy. I am holding the snare drum as I am typing this. What is the finish on yours? This one is green marine pearl.

The kit is mahogany colored, but I'm not sure if it's made out of mahogany. The snare and the bass drum were a matching pair. One of the nicest snares I own.
