Kit consists of (2) identical 14x26 Ludwig Pioneer bass drums, converted Leedy 14" snare drum for rack tom, (2) converted Ludwig & Ludwig snares for floor toms, measuring 12x15 & 12x17. All drums are mahogany and are unbelievably light - especially the bass drums. The drums sound very, very warm and rich with great tone. The snare drum is made by Rob Kampa, drum builder of Magstar Drums and also builds the current day Walberg & Auge drums, and owner of World Max USA. My inspiration for this kit comes from Fred Young, the drummer for the Kentucky Headhunters, although I would argue that this kit is a better "matching" kit than his.
