Hello everyone. I just acquired an interesting little drum. I have been combing the internet for pictures and information, but nothing seems to match. My best guess is Premier because of the "gull wing" looking lugs. It is vintage for sure, judging by the natural discolouration of the wrap, perhaps late 60's-70's. It has a Rogers cymbal mount that is not original, as you can see there was a piece of wood added to the interior to accommodate new mounting holes. It has disappearing spurs, which have disappeared. The shell is 20x11 1/2". I want to put this little guy back together and back in use. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
I also have included pics of the snare and tom that came with the kick. First thought is Japanese (pearl stencil?) snare, but the lugs are slightly different from a 60's Stewart snare that I have. It seems almost everybody used lugs similar in shape. Snare is 14x5 1/2.
The tom has been cut in half, possibly the leg mounts were moved up the shell. Shell is painted black, the interior looks like it has a natural lacquer finish underneath the paint. Very unusual looking "heavy" lugs and leg mounts. 16x10" Has anyone seen one like this?
