I’ve never been to a drum show but I just retired so I might actually be able to go to one (or more!) So let’s say you just had a couple kits and some orphans you wanted to sell... are these shows the kind of place you would set up a table... if so does it cost much?

The CT one is a consignment situation. The basement of the building is where you pile your stuff, and leave a cell number with the "minders" who call you if someone is interested in something. Just put prices on everything and enjoy the show!

I usually break even- I never "make" anything, but rather move stuff I'm not using and get new stuff.

If you have a LOT of stuff, you can pay for a booth upstairs. Check the web site for details because I'm not tat far down the rabbit hole yet.

I don't know how Chicago for example is set up, or if they even allow private sales.

Holy COW!

Mike just reminded me this is SUNDAY!!!

Shall we meet at the diner at 8:00 on Sunday?

I just learned that Gregg is doing a master class for $60 if anyone is interested. I have no further detail. He is still doing the normal clinic at noon I think is the time.

Hey Jim. Yes let's plan on 8. Send me a PM with the name of the diner again....senior moments stink!

The clinic is from 2-4 on Saturday at the WoodShed. It's on the CT Drum Show portal now. I am driving down from Montreal to get there for it as well as a meet and greet of WFL III at Precision Drum in East Hartford in the afternoon before the clinic.

VDF Members PLEASE DONT Forget to meet at the W&A booth at 2:30 for a picture with Big Blue for John. Have been saving my pennies.... See everyone on Sunday

I’ll send the diner name- once I remember it... I asked the other Mike even though I drive past it every day... it’s about a mile south of the Shriner’s on the other side of the road

Precision drum in East Hartford CT? The one I know is in Pleasant Valley NY. Gus at Dynamic Percussion is in East Hartford. Is that who you meant?
