Hello Vintage drum forum,

I'm struggling to identify the cymbal below, some say it's from the 50s some from the 70s, the stamp should help out but seems like there is some confusion.

I had it from a friend of mine which father passed away so, unfortunately, have little info, the cymbal it's louder than my Bosphorus Traditional, so I assume it's from the 70s? take a look at the pictures below, anyone can help, please? :)

That appears to be a '50's Small Stamp. Having no three dots up top and have the vertical alignment of the H in Turkish over the E in Made are the telltale signs here. The 70's stamp would not have the dots either, but the alignment would not be present.

thanks guys I appreciate your help, I may sell the cymbal as quite heavy really, seems to suit a rock band more then a jazz combo really, possibly I'll keep it for big band playing, again thank you!
