2 snares no brand, any idea?

Hi, I'm new here.

I have 2 snares without a badge or any name.

Any idea?

No idea, but the first looks far more robust than an MIJ and even looks as if it might be valuable. The second is clearly MIJ with Rogers style lug casings and Gretch style throw-off and probably only valuable to the guy with the matching kit.

The first one seems to have Premier lugs but I'm no expert.

On the first white drum,

Premier and Olympic both used this lug in the 30`s. Carlton also used it too. All these companies were owned by Dallas before Premier bought the whole lot in the 70`s.

It`s Dallas made but I can`t find that throw.

Does the first snare have all brass non-coated hardware and hoops or is it just the lighting?
