I have purchased brand new in 1980 a pearl octorama series drumset. It is a fiberglass shell with chrome finish and in excellent condition. Pearl called it the third Dimension model number 622. I can not seem to find what it is worth does anybody know

Generally speaking, the Pearl Fiberglass shells aren't highly regarded in vintage drum circles. I will add to that..."at the moment". remember, Vistalites weren't highly regarded once, too...now look at what they fetch.
I think what is cool about your kit is it really seems factory, and complete, and in decent shape. So, if there aren't any or many after-factory alterations (such as some boob drilling extra holes and changing hardware and such)...and it is a ONE-OWNER kit....that makes it a sweeter proposition.
I am gonna throw out around $1000 or so. Maybe search eBay "advanced search" of finished listings and see if any have been auctioned recently.
Another guy to ask is George Lawrence, who is a member here...he is the country's foremost vintage Japanese Drum Guru....
That's the ultra rare Playboy Edition. :D Sweet stickers on the kick. Seriously, that's a pretty cool kit. I've owned a couple of Pearl kits but have never owned a Fiber-kit. How do they sound compared to an all wood? Does it compare to what some do to wood kits when Vibra-Fibing is applied to them? Just curious.
