I have a '79 Progressive set with the same center placement logo on the BD reso head. Don't see them much, it was short lived, couple of years at most. Always struck me as odd...

Never play it the same way once.

If I were to buy another Gretsch set, this is what I would have. My fave finish of this era and the sizes are fire.

Same. I think Gretsch had the best woods of this time and I've yet to own these sizes.

We're those Baldwin shells. I had a 75 bop kit that has those particular shells. Sounds great! Sorry I sold them. Just picked up a early 2000's Broadkaster series. Jasper shells.
