1979 Ludwig Black Cortex

Loading...

I have this set I bought and cleaned up and want to keep it but... the wife says the baby and the new baby and four sets do not fit in the house. I disagree but it has to go. I don't know much about it and I have not sold on here before and I am new to this whole process, so I am looking for a kind soul to walk me through this process.

Start with a price sir.

Forum rules say price must be stated.

So here is that moment that is hard for all of us.

Commit to a dollar amount.

Good Luck

Look at the completed auctions on ebay for Ludwig cortex and see what 's there as far as list and sale prices and go from there.

I'm going to venture a guess and say that you can ask between $600-700, only because

concert toms just aren't really that desirable today imho, and the fact that it's seen it's share of usage.

The snare itself is easily worth $200-250..

Good luck with your sale !

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
