1979 Corder 3-piece

Loading...

Hey folks! I had this kit listed a while ago and ended up selling the two smaller toms, so I'm relisting the rest of the kit with new pictures and a much lower price!

From my listing on Reverb:

Up for sale is a special ordered kit from the Corder Drum Co. built in 1979. Sizes are (depth x diameter): 10x12, 16x16, & 14x22. One leg mount on the floor tom has been professionally replaced by a Ludwig mount. Chrome is in good shape. Wrap is brushed brass. The wrap has some surface scratches and rust, nothing serious. I like to call this kit a "two-feet kit:" It's seen better days but looks great from two feet away.

The shells are maple and made by Jasper; these shells are the same shells that Gretsch uses for their highly acclaimed drums. Bearing edges are super clean and the drums tune up really well. You will not be disappointed by the sound of these drums.

Excellent players kit, great candidate for rewrapping or staining the shells.

You will not find another quality kit for such a great price anytime soon. These Jasper shells alone are worth the asking price.

CONUS shipping only. Shipping is only an estimate, I will provide actual shipping after the purchase is complete and will refund the extra payment.

If you wish to do a local pickup, I am located in Fairview Park, OH, just outside of Cleveland. I'm willing to meet up if you are within reasonable range.

Here's the full listing with pictures: https://reverb.com/item/5674963-1979-corder-special-order-3-piece-kit-in-brushed-brass

$400 + ship takes it home! Please let me know if you're interested, I need this to go so I can complete a blue sparkle Rogers set I'm working on :)

Thanks!

Luke

If its a 12 that can be cut down to a 12x8, id be interested. Problem is I'm in Ontario, and have that magic line across the road. If we could meet where would you like it to be?...I'm near Windsor, Sarnia, Niagara Falls...

Hi Wayne! The drum is a 12" diameter, so it can definitely be cut down to a 12x8. We could totally meet up if we can find a middle ground. Niagara Falls is the long way around to Canada from Cleveland, as I'd have to go through PA and NY to get there - Michigan might work best for us. Just checking maps, halfway between Windsor and Cleveland is past the Ohio/Michigan border, between Sandusky, OH and Toledo, OH. I think the ****hest I could go is Toledo. Thoughts?

Let me know!

Luke
