Offering For Sale a late 70's Ludwig Big Beat Clear Vistalite Drum Kit. 12-13 Tom,s 16x16FT, 22x14 BD. All Serial Numbers are 19xxxxx on the drums. I took these to the Pennsylvania Vintage Drum show in October and multiple people commented they had never seen a set of these so clean, with no crazing in the finish. I was asked how I got them this clean(ancient Chinese secret!). These are all original, with new Remo heads all the way around. They sound like Vistalites should; open, projecting tone.

The only issues are: Floor tom has a crack through the muffler mounting holes. Goes from the top bearing edge through the muffler mounting holes and down the shell, total length about 10". You cannot feel it with your fingernail on the outside of the shell, and it doesn't affect the sound. The only other issue is that the mufflers are gone, except one of them which isn't mounted. It has the four hole plate, which could be easily reproduced.

I am offering them at a fair price of $750. I will not ship these due to what they are. I also have a 5x14 matching snare drum in just as good of condition, which comes with a B/O hard case & clean snare stand +$250. So, a grand for it all, or $750 for just the 4 pcs., I am FIRM on this price, as it is a great deal for someone.
