Hey,

Is that Black Diamond Pearl, Blakrome, Sparkling Black Pearl, Black Oak Arkansas, Back in Black, or just plain old Black Beauty Pearl? What are the sizes? Does that include a snare? Hardware? Please give us a bit more to work with. Thanks and welcome. I sincerely hope that we can help you. These are neat drums!

If you're selling 'em to me...175 firm. If you sell 'em to the general public...maybe a bit more.

Actually, we are still missing the info on the hardware and cymbals and such. We would need to know the exact models of these. For instance, the Luddy flat stands from the early 60's and the 'Ringo' hi-hat stand are worth quite a bit more than say an Atlas stand. We don't know which stands you might have gotten from the store when you purchased the kit. Sometimes they give you what they have available at that time...to pacify the customer. Heck, a hollow letter Zildjian A has a different price base than a NOS pre-stencil Zildjian you happened to of lucked into the day you bought this kit. You see, there are just too many extraneous variables here.

Please itemize this kit a bit more. Please include pics of these for a better idea of value.

I realize this sounds like nitpicking, but it really is necessary. You have this in the "For Sale" area and I am assuming you want to maximize your take. In order to do that, we would need to know precisely what you have for sale to figure out the actual worth. Ballparking is possible...but not financially wise.

Thank you for you patience.

okay I can take pics I got the Ludwig hardware cause I liked better than Slingerlands they are the tubular type the cymbals don't look great but they could be cleaned, same with the stands. The snare stand is Slingerland, flat stock, cymbals are Z's no markings ,14" hi hats 16" crash 18" medium ride and 22" ride. There are 5 cymbal stands including the hi hat, one is a boom type.

Is that a sticker from where you got them on the smaller tom? Nice kit.

Man, that's a nice kit. The ONLY thing I can see that might be a hangup is that there looks to be a bit of roughness on some of those cymbal holes. Did you use plastic or rubber sleeves to cover the metal mount? It may be the pics, I can't tell. Other than that, ... man, that's a nice kit.

We have a lot of Slingyphites on this site. They will chime in.

I think you might have had better luck with the comments had you posted this in the "How Much Is This Worth" category instead of the "For Sale" category. Unless someone is looking to buy, they may not visit this part of the forum. Just a thought.

Again, nice kit.

Hey, here's a thought...

Are you interested in trades? This is a swapping shopping bunch of guys (and maybe girls...I'm not sure). Again...just a thought.

If you are selling the hardware separate, I'd be interested in two of the Ludwig cymbal stands.

Thanks,

Harry
