Hey guys first time poster here so go easy 😀. I've just gotten hold of a premier 2000 snare. Just sat down to take apart to give it a clean and not for the life of me can I figure out how to remove snare wires to take off reso head. Theyre original wires so wanna go chancing my arm. Any help be much appreciated.

Loosen the snare tension knob so the snare wires are loose. There should be a couple of small screws at each end of the snare butt plates, and the oval/keyhole shaped holes should allow them to release. Be careful, though, because those screws also adjust the pressure that the wires are pressed against the snare head when they're engaged.
