Hello, I have happened upon a beautiful 1974 Sonor Champion Drum kit. However it didn't include the hardware to mount the two rack toms to the kick drum. Does anyone know what aftermarket or newer Sonor or other brand will do the trick. The size of the holes in the mounts on the drums measure a tiny bit more than 13/16th of an inch. If anyone could direct me to something it would be great. Thanks!

Hi Val and Welcome here!
There's a good address here in Germany for such spare parts:
But perhaps someone on your side of the pond can be of help, too?

Val,...
..Yours is gonna be the smaller of the two mounts sizes of that era. The mount is designed to accept any pole of that size and hold. I don`t know where you are so the best I can say is that they do show up on e-bay often !!

Ah thanks!.. I'll probably make due with some Pearl or other type hardware until I can find the proper one.. I got the drums from a prop house that was going out of business in LA and they are in very nice shape, I will indeed post a photo when I get them set up. It says 404 inside the drums which is supposed to signify that they were born in April of 74.. They are crazy Orange Metallic.. I have seen a few pics of them around but if anyone has any knowledge on them bring it on..!
I wanted the pic. so I could tell you just that, whatever you wanna know !!
Are they six or nine ply ?
You can tell if they have rounded or sharp 45 degree edges !!
They sound like matalic Copper (orange) !!
It`s easy to cvonfuse a Champion series with a Super Champion series !!
You should have Z 5**** stands.
