1971 Ludwig Super Classic

I restored this set which was painted white by a previous owner. Beautiful White Marine Pearl which was actually preserved by the paint I think as there is no fading or discoloration to the wrap.

That's incredible! Must have been a lot of work to remove the paint? How about from around the badges? And, yes, the finish certainly was well preserved!

thanks very much guys. it was quite a bit of work but - let the truth be known - i actually asked a painter who was busy painting my house, to assist me with the cleaning and it made it easier. So credit to him too :-) :-)

LOL! I bet that house painter jumped at the chance to do something besides paint walls!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
